Tradeforge allows users to delete their accounts permanently. Users can initiate this process directly within the app or by contacting our support team.

A. Request via the Tradeforge App

Users can delete their account by following these steps:

  1. Open the Tradeforge app.

  2. Go to Settings > Account > Delete Account.

  3. Complete the required identity verification steps.

  4. Review the deletion terms and confirm the request.

B. Request via Email

Users can also request account deletion by emailing support@tradeforge.app with the subject “Account Deletion Request”, including:

  • Their registered email address.

  • A request for permanent deletion of their account.

  • Identity verification details, if necessary.

Our support team will process the request within 30 days, subject to verification.

A. Immediate Actions After Deletion Request

  • Your account will be deactivated and scheduled for permanent deletion.

  • You will no longer have access to your portfolios, subscriptions, and forged portfolios.

B. Data Deletion and Retention

  • Personal Data Removal: Your name, email, user-generated content, and other personal data will be permanently erased.

  • Subscription and Financial Data:

    • If you have an active subscription, you must cancel it separately through the Google Play Store to avoid further charges.

    • Any remaining balances or fees must be settled before account deletion.

C. Data Retention for Legal Compliance

Certain data will be retained as required by law for regulatory, tax, security, and compliance reasons, including:

  • Trading activity, transaction history, and financial records (to comply with financial regulations and reporting obligations).

  • Fraud prevention and dispute resolution data (to prevent abuse and comply with legal requirements).

  • Security logs and compliance records (to meet anti-fraud and regulatory policies).

This data will be stored securely and will not be used for marketing or user profiling after account deletion.
